2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit our pages, information (e.g. IP address, time of access) is automatically transmitted to Vercel's servers. Vercel operates an Edge Network with locations in the EU and USA.

Provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Baxter St, Coppell, TX 75019, USA.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the stable and secure provision of the website).

3. Database and Storage

We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) as our database service for storing user data, tournament data, and related information.

Server location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (eu-central-1). Your data generally does not leave the European Economic Area.

4. Authentication

We use Supabase Auth for user registration and login. You can register using email and password or via Discord OAuth.

Discord OAuth

When you sign in via Discord, the following data is transmitted from Discord to us and stored:

Scope: Discord user ID, username, email address, and profile picture (scopes: identify, email).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent for Discord OAuth).

5. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

  • NEXT_LOCALE — Stores your language preference (German/English). Technically necessary.
  • Supabase Auth Cookies — Session cookies for authentication. Technically necessary.

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies. Neither Google Analytics nor comparable services are used.

6. Email

For sending transactional emails (email verification, password reset), we use the built-in Supabase Auth mailer. These emails are sent only at your request. No newsletters are sent.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8. Data Retention

Personal data is deleted once the purpose of storage no longer applies. Your user account and associated data will be deleted when you request deletion or delete your account yourself. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

9. SSL/TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal requirements or changes to the service. The current version is always available on this page.
